As an electricity, water and gas supplier with 2,200 employees at seven locations, NEW AG faced a major challenge in digitizing its mailroom. Through the “Digital Mailroom” project, a further step towards digital transformation was successfully implemented with the help of Canon and IRIS solutions. Employees can now have more than 60 document types automatically recognized, sorted and assigned to the appropriate business areas. This means an increase in efficiency in the processing of mail and a significant reduction in the workload of employees. This was made possible with the help of IRISPowerscan™ and IRISXtract™.
